Next Generation Solar Energy Meets Nanotechnology

23 - 25 November 2016, Erlangen

Closing Date for Registration 16th of November 2016

 

The focus of this congress is to cross-link at an early stage world-class science and business in the area of next generation energy (essentially photovoltaics) to further enhance technological and commercial exploitation.

The conference offers an excellent opportunity to learn about latest developments and current projects in this field and to exchange ideas and experiences with experts from around the world. The goal is to incubate new projects in the growing field of next generation photovoltaics.

As SAOT Member you earn 2,5 Credit Points for the participation. Admission fees will be covered by SAOT.

Field trip to OSRAM

Wednesday, July 29th

The hbar OMEGA OSA student chapter cordially invites to visit OSRAM in Regensburg.
In the morning there will be a visit on the site of "SORAM Opto Semiconductors" with an introductory talk, a tour through the facilities and lunch. In the afternoon "OSRAM OLED" will be visited. The excursion will finish in the evening with a get-together.

 

Please note that all participating SAOT Doctoral Candidates will earn one credit-point.

Field Trip to Zeiss SMT and Trumpf

Tuesday, July 29th

The hbar OMEGA OSA student chapter cordially invites to visit ZEISS SMT in Oberkochen and Trumpf in Ditzingen, where an interesting mixture of presentations and guided tours through the companies' R&D departments is awaiting us.
To finish off the excursion in the evening, there will be a get-together at Ochsn Willi in Stuttgart, a cozy tavern serving traditional food from the region.

Departure at 6.30 in the morning at the gate in front of the Max Planck Institute.
