Culture Shock Germany

25th, November, 2017

Intercultural Seminar about Germany

Every culture has its characteristics.

As a none-German you experience these every day and often find yourself puzzled, perplexed, sometimes offended. For you it is interesting to change the perspective and to discover, what lies behind the behavior, what attitude, values and intentions define the way Germans tend to act and talk.

For the Germans these characteristics are mainly invisible, yet still defining. For them the seminar is a glance in the mirror that helps to not only understand yourself but also behavior and reactions of your non-German co-workers.

How to survive in a job interview

19th May 2017, 09.00 a.m. to 05.00 p.m., plus one hour on 20th or 21th May

The two-day-course trains the student how to perform in a job interview

  • On the first day the usual structure of and requirements in a job interview are presented and recommendations are given how to perform successfully. In small role plays the theory is put into practice.
  • On the second or third day each student will attend a real 'live' simulation of a job interview.

On the first day the whole group works together. On the second/third day individual time slots for the students will be scheduled. Therefore time required for each single student is only the first day (19th May) and about one hour on the second or third day (20th or 21st May) and the maximum number of attendants is limited to sixteen.
