Combining Raman spectroscopy and Photonic Force Microscopy

The connection between chemical binding and conformational changes in single living cells and long molecules may be studied by an experimental technique combining the Raman Spectroscopy and Photonic Force Microscopy. Several examples such as a single living cell growth in an optical trap, the hyperosmotic stress in a single yeast cell, stretching a red blood cell and a DNA illustrate this study.
